I have been getting very bad latency to WOW Eu servers few the past few days.... like 1200ms - 2500ms....telkom say its nothing wrng their side...

lol it's not their side when the timeouts are clearly local, something wrong with ur exchange/line ?

but i can ping any local sites and get 50-65ms. How can that be the problem?

I've been having a similar problem with horrendous latency in Second Life. Out of curiosity, I did a tracert on the route you listed and have pretty much the same results.

I've given up on trying to get it fixed, (partly out of paranoia that if I yell too loudly, they might downgrade my line), but it can be very frustrating.
