At least I think that's what you call it.

Took off my right mirror and scraped the side of my car pretty bad.

I found my car like this last night.

What steps to take now?

Other than that though, I assume it isn't road worthy now due to the left mirror being taken off?

I need to replace that, because the car is a daily driver, but I cannot wait for the insurance company. So how does that work?

@ OP - You should still be roadworthy without the mirror. Go to the police station that covered the area where the incident happened and file a report, you'll get a case number.

Once you've got this, phone your insurance and lodge a claim. Give them all the details as well as the case number, they'll guide you on their own process from there.

You'll have to decide which mirror is missing before you can debate the roadworthiness.
