Sorry, I couldn't find this article in English. Why it doesn't appear in the English media, I can only speculate.

Basically an airforce pilot, one of the number that are being trained top be VIP pilots, "borrowed" a light aircraft and without authorization flew all the way to Botswana to visit some friends. The story came out when he started to boast about him having done it but that he would get away scot-free.
But the article goes further and stated that apparently, somebody high up in the department of defense tried to stop any investigation into the matter. WTF!!!
