Ello,

To be quite honest, I'm not surprised. With a company as incompetent and disorganised as Sentech, you must make sure they are not ripping you off more than they already are [V].

Only quirk that I have noticed so far (yes, I check ALL accounts EVERY month) is for month one, where we were charged some R 892.91, but found out that it was pro rata + extended warrantee. So that was normal in the end.

Guys, check your accounts.

Thanks for the advice guys, I'll call my bank just now, as they dont really have any branches to go TO to fill out a form (one of those online only ones)

Donovan, I might have a lot of cash, and this may confuse you, but I actually DO stuff with that cash to pro-actively secure my future. Now, I'm well on my way to retire by age 28, can you? So if someone messes with my LIFE (not to mention the cash) I'm spitting acid everywhere and don't care who gets burnt. Go work out how much they REALLY took from me, you'd be suprised how much a well invested 1.5k would yield in 5 years.

They do me damage? I do them damage... I'll get a bakkie and tear down one of their towers, or set fire to Radiokop or something... THAT is how serious I am about MY life.

Why do you have to "put your two cents in"... but it's only a "penny for your thoughts"? Where's that extra penny going to?

Still, the man has a valid point. Strange that he's so sensitive about the cash but couldnt really bother about what he gets for it. While we all "moan" about speed. Really that is because we arent getting what we are paying for.

Whos whining like a little girl now?

Whichever way you look at it, Sentech is cheating you (and us). Noone, welcome to the club. We meet on wednesdays. First rule: bring ammo.

Feel your pain Noone. Excactly the same happened to me as well. Luckily the bank Manager , who is also Satan , was very quick to help me out.

You understand me wrong, i never had a dip in my speeds... so i got what i paid for, TheRodent, compound interest is for sissies, my investments usually turns a 40% profit PER MONTH that is what GOOD traders do for you if you can find one.

Going the whole "managed fund invested in over 40 different shares for diversity" isn't really my thing, warranties is a good thing if you know how, and luckily I employ people who KNOWS what they're doing most of the time, not like the monkey's that think they know what they're doing most of the time but dont....

Eish, that reminds me, have to fill in one of those tax form jobbies :(

Why do you have to "put your two cents in"... but it's only a "penny for your thoughts"? Where's that extra penny going to?

Im waiting 3 months for my tax forms, But that is another topic alltogether :)

Save a horney friend........

Yea well, thats why i have accountants, they worry about it, I just sign the papers or something

Warrants aren't exactly the safest investment, even if you know how. Which is why the warrants section on the JSE is still turning over slower than expected after about a year and a half after their introduction.

I'd still like to see the investment that promises 40% per month on an investment of R1500, and isn't tied to Amway, or the National lottery in some way.

I have one sure investment (at least for the next year or so):
Shares in Telkom...of course a prerequisite to holding these shares is that you don't have a conscience [:)]

Telkom needs a leash, ICASA needs some guts, and the SA consumer needs to make it happen

Noone, why not just change your bank. Check out 20Twenty.com Not only will they reverse that debit for you, but they will also assist you in getting back your fee for the reversed debit. Its an amazing bank. Cell C screwed me recently but I have in my possession an apology from the financial director, thanks to my bank[:D]

"oh bother" said pooh, as the last standing Telkom employee is blown to pieces with his minigun

append: invest in Telkom, its a cash cow - money is generated with very little cost to do so - its the ideal business model.

40% a month is a little crazy.. but one things for sure, ownership in Telkom and Vodacom will make you some serious money due to their unrestricted pricing structures and the willingness of customers to get ripped off. Well, they dont have a choice but if you are an owner/investor thats just the cherry on the cake.
I reckon its a fairly stable investment unlike the lottery.
