Something wrong with my USB flash stick

I copied over videos to my flash from my dads laptop and I cant copy the videos in there to my PC. It says "parameter is incorrect" what does that mean?

Can you see the videos on the stick?

Did you eject it properly before taking it out?

Yeah I can watch the videos on the stick and yes I did. I can copy videos over to the laptop or PS but not my PC. with other flashes I can copy videos over to my PC(the same videos) just not this one

What is the size of the video file that you are trying to copy, and what format is your HDD (Fat32 or NTFS)? Fat 32 has a limitation of 4 GB, so if the file is larger than that, you will get this error message.

Its NTFS. its just started happening recently I cant copy anything over to my PC using that flash. it either gives the "parameter is incorrect" message or it says "cannot read from source file or disk"
But If I use a different flash and I copy the same thing over it works perfectly.

What make is your flash disk? I had the same with a cheap Sahara eDrive 1GB - it will seemingly hold the data, but cannot be read by any other PC. I eventually gave up and replaced it. My issue started when I was copying data from a Win XP PC to the stick, then trying to take it off the stick onto a Win 7/Vista laptop - would not read it and got the above errors. I tried formatting the stick in Win 7/Vista and tried again, same error.

Im using the U3 cruzer. I recently installed Win XP on my PC could this maybe be the problem? I can copy stuff onto the flash but i cant copy anything onto my PC from the Flash.
