I have been having real difficulty with getting any decent performance for over a year, due to congestion on this exchange. I have heard that a new MSAN has already been installed (January 2013), but some internal delays within Telkom are delaying commisioning of the new MSAN. In the meanwhile, access speed is getting worse steadily. I am subscribed for a 4Mbps ADSL with Telkom Internet, but I am only syncing at 2Mbps.

Telephone Number: 013 745 XXXX

Typically, late afternoon is the worst time.

For the purposes of this test, I used my Telkom DoBroadband 1Gb capped account:

# ping telkom.co.za
