I am uncertain which Sonoff product will be best to enable the sockets for my borehole pump and water tank pressure pump (separate sockets). These are currently in waterproof slide boxes. I also need to go for 16A switches, which limits the options a bit.

Initially, I wanted to replace the conventional sockets with smart sockets but can't see a 16A version. Thinking of wiring MiniR3 (https://sonoff.tech/product/minir3/) into the existing sockets boxes, presuming they will fit. Are there better options? Thanks

What about the CBI Astute Smart controller?

Maybe but it does not look like the CBI products are compatible with Home Assistant or the Ewelink app where I have all my other Sonoffs linked on.

I run a shitload of Tuya stuff including the CBI in Home Assistant.

You clearly did zero research as there are at least three different ways to do it.

CBI products run on the Tuya platform. They are compatible with HomeAssistant but not with EweLink.

If your goal is to have everything in EweLink then yes you need to get a Sonoff device. If your goal is everything in HomeAssistant then you’re not limited to only Sonoff
