Hi guys,
I don't quite know where to post this but here goes anyway:
I've just bought a pair of Sanyo Eneloop rechargeable batteries (the pack without the charger). I've got a Sony BC-CS2B charger at home which I planned on using, but on the back of the charger it says: "This charger must only be used with Sony Ni-MH batteries...".
So I tested it with some other 'Golden Power' 2000 mAh rechargeables I've got - I charged the batteries overnight and then when they were fully charged i put them back in and within about 15 minutes the charge light went off (indicating that the batteries were charged). Would it be safe to assume that the charger has some sort of overcharging control and won't overcharge/damage the Eneloops? Or alternatively, does anyone know where I can get a decent charger in Cape Town for about ~ R100?
Thanks
