My Sony Ericsson K810i fell hard on the floor today and when I picked it up it looked like the camera was damaged because there was a plastic covering the lens and it was cracked.
When I turned it on the plastic cover was gone and the camera looks normal as if nothing had happened to it. I tested the camera and all it's features worked fine. WTH are those thin plastic covers (there are about three) that are always closed used for? Is it some kind of magic lens impact protector?
