Sony PSP and Internet woes

Hi all

I hope someone has experience here and can help me with this.

I have a Sony PSP that I want to connect to the net through wireless.

My laptop is currently connected to my ADSL router via a cable, now the laptop has wireless built in, so how do I allow the psp to connect to the wireless on the laptop and thereby share the internet connection?

I have been searching and looking up access points and adhoc connections etc. etc. but I am now so lost I'm about to throw it out the window

A step by step guide would be really cool
