I am flying Kulula and I was wondering if you are allowed to take a PSP with you on the plane? I need something to do for the 2 hours!

I dont see why not. They'd probably discourage it's use during takeoff and landing.

Have a safe flight :)

BTW - keep the volume down or use a headset or people will complain.

EDIT - I had a quick look and seems [-]at least[/-] one country - Japan - has banned their use on planes http://news.filefront.com/ds-and-psp-can-no-longer-be-played-on-japanese-airlines/

if you can use a laptop (not during takeoff or landing) on a plane, then im sure a psp will be fine, try see if other people have em on the plane, and have some gta multiplayer madness :D

Cool. This is my first flight after buying one and I am actually looking forward to 2 hours of some cool gaming! :)

I took one on a BA flight - I don't recall being hassled about it at all. I think they give you that bulldust about interference so that you don't try and have something on your lap or in the way at take off and landing for safety reasons.

The PSP doesn't have a CD drive although that UMD thing is similar.

And if anything, the wireless connection would be the biggest cause of interference.

Yeah I turned my wireless off, no complaints from anyone.

In fact, the guy next to me actually left his wireless on, I politely told him it would probably be best to turn it off.
