If a Samsung S3 is running Android 4.4 or later, will the Smartband work? I've just thought of it after having said I'll take the one in the classifieds

So if anyone knows how to work it and gives me instructions if its more than the basic way or has any experience, please let me know... If not, I'll just have to test it...

I recall reading that it'll work on any Android 4.0 and above. But no guarantee. Check xda

The s3 seems to meet the minimum spec. Assuming you're not running a custom it should work. But i'm not sure it's worth the effort for me for a maybe.

I'm running CM on android 5 since I don't recall the S3 getting past 4.3. Will continue chatting by PM
