This compact camera sports a few interesting features and takes great shots. It is just a little pricey, though.

Sony has long been the leader in the compact digital camera market. Their Cyber-shot range has done incredibly well all over the world. Their latest little compact camera, called the T900, sports a variety of interesting features that will appeal to both novice and semi-professional users.

The large 3.5-inch LCD on the back of the camera is touch sensitive, and there are no other buttons on the camera, other than the zoom controls. The screen is responsive, and while it does take a little getting used to, interacting with the camera this way makes a lot of sense - especially if you consider that you can simply touch the screen to focus on a particular area before you take a picture. The

T900 also has the capability to record video at a resolution of 720p, while still images are captured at a resolution of 12.1 megapixels. This camera sports all the shooting modes you would expect on such a device, including face detection and smile shutter. Considering the small size of this camera and the brilliant image quality, the T900 is the perfect ‘drop-in-yourpocket- and-go’ camera.

Even though I am very tempted to upgrade my three-year-old compact, the T900 is still a little pricey, but it’s a great camera nonetheless.
