Sony to add 160 GB option for PS3

We might be but they're way too costly. Everyone is already moaning about the price of the PS3 - do you want it to be raised by another few hundred $$$
 
Oh yay .. we're on to TeraByte drives now dammit. Wake up Sony.

Its not like they can do anything about it and if you can find a terabyte 2.5" drive go for it. Its really easy to replace the existing PS3 harddrive with a new one, its even explained in the manual :)

Think the 2.5" drives go up to around 320Gb now but because of cost Sony used only 160Gb.
I bought the 40Gb PS3 and put a 200Gb HDD in there. Very glad especially with bigger and bigger PSN games for download, one of them is over 9Gb.

Correct Sir, 320GB is the biggest 2.5" drives as far as I know. Though I've seen 500GB WD Passport drives dunno the truth in that. Could be worth checking out.
