Sony Xperia Z3 smartphone, tablet range unveiled

Screen resolutions seems a bit low still, that aside looks decent :)

Well smaller battery and faster cpu:

So the Z3 should have worse battery life.

Go figure. Then Z2 is (to me at least) the ideal smartphone. I have yet to experience lag on the phone and the batterylife is staggeringly good - I can get 2-3 days on a single charge with average use and everything turned on. Having a slightly faster CPU will have no noticeable impact on the phone, but you'll definitely end up plugging in every night...

Z3 compact is nearly as big as it's big brother one of these days they will call a 5 in phone a mini.

Very nice hardware from Sony once again, strong cameras, glass construction, and waterproof bodies.

I actually think the Z3 Compact is the perfect phone size. 4.3 is just a little too small.

Will be a hard choice when I upgrade whether to get a Z3 Compact or Z2.

Any idea when these will be released?
My upgrade is November.

My upgrade is in December.
Considering how long it took the Z2 to hit SA shores, I'd be very surprised if the Z3's are locally available before 2015.

My guess is Vodacom or MTN gets them November, and the rest December.

I am more interested in the remote play feature that's great. However i would also prefer if Sony developed a universal android app for remote play instead of locking the functionality into their phones only. Talk about business and making money

Do we know when it will be available? All reports say end of october but I havent seen anything?
