My calves have been stiff for two days and can't think of anything I have done to them above usual work load other than starting to stretch.

IS it possible to have stiff muscles from stretching?

very much so

Sometimes they go stiff when I stretch in the morning after drinking heavily the previous night. I have no idea why that happens.

Ok found a second possibility just went for my 4 daily walk up the work stairs (16 flights) and I seem to have adopted the habit of walking up on my toes. I have wierd feet

Potassium deficiency? It should not happen during normal stretching.

Be carefull with exercise if you have some sort of deformity! You can end up doing more bad then good!

Does duck footed count as a deformity, although have trained my feet in over the years - bone alignement obviously not perfect - I avoid things like squats for this reason

Bets to consult a quack, sorry mean doctor.

Leave them alone for a few day. Provide an abundant supply of grass or hay, maybe a lick of some kind. If their soreness do not disappear consider contacting a vet. BTW Did you inocualte them recently?

Good night, Patches. Good night, Halloway. Good night, Nepture. Good night, Davis. Good night, Bud. Good night, Red. Good night, Paulette. Good night, Chastity.

Butters, I'm going to kill you over and over again.
