Just read this in eat pray love book .... makes you think about it

A true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that's holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life. A true soul mate is probably the most important person you'll ever meet, because they tear down your walls and smack you awake. But to live with a soul mate forever? Nah, too painful.

I've loved more than one man though. So i don't see how one person in the world can be my soulmate yet i can't fall in love with other people and be happy?

By wiktionary's definition: A soulmate is someone with whom one has a special, almost spiritual connection.

I think it is possible to love more than one person but you will only have that deep connection with one. A soulmate.
 
.. but you'll never know until you meet that person ;)

Or meat that person in Pythons case!
 
Guess even though we all are capable of loving a crap load of people there is that one person that will always be "the one" or that has a special nook in ones heart......
 
I agree it is possible to love more than one, but also to experience more than one soulmate in life.

Love is a numbers game, the more you put yourself out there the more chance you will have to experience different kinds of love aswell as finding your Soulmate/s by definition.

If my soulmate was the one that inspired, motivated and involved me everyday that would be the one I would be prepared to go-lifelong with.

Okay you see the poster asked what he must buy from hong kong. i hear tiger penis soup is a delicacy there so i told him to buy that :D
