Afternoon :)

So I bought myself a set of Logitech X530 speakers the other day. Set it up, plugged everything in, flipped the power switch and noticed that sound only plays through the front left and right speakers. I have tried the configuration wizard, etc with no luck. Also noticed something strange while testing the surround sound through the config wizard. When I click on the center speaker, sound plays through the rear speakers. When I click on the sub woofer, sound only plays through the rear right speaker. All cables are plugged in to their correct ports on the sub and the sound card.

What to do??

what are your pc specs? on board sound or dedicated sound card? version of windows?

Windows 7 Professional and an ISonic IS-AD-S6 5.1 Channel Sound Card. Also noticed now that when I play music and receive a message through Skype, the music stops playing for a second and then resumes. Something isn't right here.

sounds like a driver issue....
you have updated drivers for your sound card installed?

I know you said that everything is plugged in correctly, but it's either that or the settings in windows isn't correct. I know you can set the green port to front, orange/pink to rear and black to sub & centre or change it to your liking...

try taking it out and using on board.
from what I've just seen , this card is like only 60 bucks? at least it should narrow things down.

Hmm how do you do this?

As for onboard sound, it doesn't have a black or orange port. :/

(Sorry, a bit clueless on this subject)
