I can only use one sound jack in the back of my computer and I have two inputs that I need to plug in, but Vista only detects one.

I am trying to install the AC'97 drivers for my onboard soundcard but they are stuck and not moving along with the install process.

Can someone please help me sort it out?

Super Grandmasters are real men - they shouldn't need help with such things...:D

Go to control panel and uninstall anything to do with sound. Let windows redetect it all. Insert the disc. Preferably the mobo disc. How many sound sockets you got? Vanilla red, blue and green? or extra for 5.1 / 7.1?

edit: vista is funny with sound hardware...
