Sound Proofing a generator ?

Post your tips on how you sound proofed your generator.

I tried using my large dog kennel (asbestos/cement type) , think the plastic type ones will melt .
If possible post pics and a step by step guide.

Apparently the underground designs work best...if you can solve the heat issue.
