SoundBar, where to get?

So I got a 50" plasma a month ago and wanna get some sound in as well
but the whole speakers and sub thing just isn't viable ... space issues.
What I am looking for is a SoundBar but so far all i could find was a Philips from
Hi Fi Corruption (not to thrilled with them).

Can anyone tell me where I can find a soundbar on a budget?
 
lol ... well mounted on the wall makes the space issues seem less ;) thats why i was thinking
sound bar as well seeing it can be wall mounted without cables running everywhere
 
Think I've seen sound bars with subs. I'd say a sub is a must have.

Otherwise you could perhaps get a decent 5.1 satellite system with all the speakers set up in the front?

Or if wall mounting makes space issues seem less, how about mounting the satellites to the walls too? ;)
 
well i thought of that but the wife doesn't want allot of wires all over so still wanting that soundbar
just need to know where i can find some good ones on a fair budget
 
My parents have the LG Soundbar which is pretty good value.

I think it was R8,000.00 or so and has Blu Ray, DLNA, LAN port, HDMI, wireless sub and provision for wireless rear speakers

What are the space issues? I had to route my rear speaker wires around a staircase and a sliding door. Maybe people can give advice on ways getting around your problem.
