soundcard

Hi i have a Asus p6t deluxe do i need a soundcard for 7.1 (Logitech G35) surround gaming headset?will it sound better with a soundcard? if so what do u guys recommend?

It's a USB headset so soundcard will make no difference. You can even disable the onboard sound it if you don't use speakers.
