i bought a new asus board

it has soundmax on it

i have a cheapy audigy sound blaster is the audigy better than the onboard soundmax?

Audigy is better than any onboard sound solution except Nvidia SoundStorm or Via Envy.

Soundmax only supplies the sound software .... what chipset of the m/b .... realtek soundchip I guess ???
