South Africa is cracking down on financial crimes, and cryptocurrency platforms—including Binance, the largest crypto exchange in the world—are working with law enforcement to bring offenders to justice.

"In South Africa, we've partnered with local authorities, conducting training for over 35 officials to help combat crypto-related crimes," the head of Binance's global Financial Intelligence Unit, Nils Andersen-Röed, told MyBroadband.

I think they are desperate for taxes. The best thing if you have a wallet and its not on an exchange or nobody knows and if you plan to move abroad, simply dont tell them.

Govt runs a deficit/loss in trade of R250 billion with their BRICS partners, and other than that they pick up an additionaly R250 billion to R1 trillion in debt year on year.

The VAT increase was mainly to pay for increased government salaries. then suddenly lets give some more to the poor. But honestly nothing gets done to help the middle class
