South Africa faces a massive car problem, analysts warn

South Africa’s major export car markets such as the UK and Europe will no longer allow the importation of internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles by 2030 which means there is an urgent need for added investment to shift to electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing in South Africa.

Just leave it to the ANC like they did with Eskom... suddenly they'll wake up in 2029 and then it will be too late..

It’s not like we own the companies that are manufacturing here. Cars are produced here for European parent companies. They will still produce cars here and it will be EV.
