does anyone know if downloading/uploading from SA hubs eg: za hub is local or international? seems to be local but an error could cost you the international bandwidth for the month  Thanks

Whether you downloading/uploading from local or international it all comes off your cap regardless.

if you have for example 3 gig international and 27 local, it would make a difference, I would want to preserve my international and make sure that the SA hubs are coming off my local or am looking at it the wrong way:confused:

Now when you guys are talking about downloading/uploading etc. Are we talking torrents P2P, or just downloading in general.

sofi : You are looking at it the wrong way. Once you have downloaded 3 gb worth of data (up and down) from international and local, you will not have access to international. You will still have another 27 gb of local though

traffic is traffic no matter where it comes from. With the 3/27 account, u get 3 gigs to do with as u please (int'l + local) after that u r restricted to 27gb local only

MrJones : I assume he meant SA mirrors like tucows, etc

well I supose the hubs are P2P, not sure about that as they work differently from your normal P2P clients, this is what I am trying to find out, let's say for example once my 3 gig international are used up I will be left with 27 gig local, can I use those 27 for anything I choose as long as it is local? or is it just for browsing and email ect.. because in that case even a place like tucows.co.ca could be dicey as they dont' keep all the stuff on their server hence the importance of knowing if the SA hubes are local and if they will allow P2P local, very very confused here about the options, sorry :-(

with the local access u can do what u want as long as its local.. with the hubs, if the person u r downloading from is local, this is fine.. but if they arent local, (say from england) but they connected to the sa hub for some reason, u wont b able to download from them

Thanks, that is what I tought but I needed confirming now back to the list of IPs. Thanks for all the help really appreciate it
