The bail application of two Nigerian men allegedly involved in a phishing scam that stole up to R55 million from internet bankers was postponed to the end of the month, Pretoria police said on Tuesday.

So reporting all those many messages to ABSA and the ISPs involved was not in vain.

To my knowledge, ABSA still does not have an email address that members of the public can use to forward examples of phishing scam emails received [involving ABSA that is].

FNB has such an email address, and Nedbank as well IIRC, but ABSA doesn't...
