Soweto boy, 11, raped

An 11-year-old boy was raped, allegedly by two other minors at the Doornkop cemetery in Soweto, Gauteng police said on Thursday.

A local resident witnessed the crime on Wednesday evening and reported it to the 11-year-old's parents, Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela said.

The alleged rapists were both 14 years old. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

The two teenagers were arrested and taken to a place of safety, Makhubela said.

They are expected to appear in the Protea Magistrate's Court soon.

I think it's the Headline Fallacy. (or maybe not) Rather it would be a problem of over reporting or sensationalism probably. So it's a bias.

Maybe it was over before he/she could get there, or maybe he/she was an old man/woman or child and didn't want to get moered by the vibrant youths who did this.

Those rapists could have had knives or guns on them. If I were witnessing this I'd assume they'd have weapons which they could have used to threaten the boy that was raped.
