"The BMW brand found a home in Soweto many years ago," said Bodo Donauer managing director of BMW SA. - :p

Soweto is on record as having nicknamed the BMW E30, the Gusheshe (notion of speed), the E36 the Dolphin (notion of gracefulness) and the E46 the G-string (notion of sex-appeal).

Lol who wrote this crap!:p

Gusheshe - Panty Dropper
Dolphin - Mmm I thought that was universal?
G-string - Hijack slang....

This is the biggest load of bollocks I have ever read. The term Dolphin does not come from Soweto

Even Wikipedia mentions the Dolphin name:
Also known as the "Dolphin shape." The E36 was sold from 1991 through 1999

BMW has should loose a bit of their rep for this. What makes it worse is that they are putting pressure on the communities in Soweto to become more status conscience in an economy that is becoming tighter and tigher.:mad:

Why are journalists in South Africa allowed to write such nonsense
