Scenario, I have two phones/contracts, one on VC, the other on MTN.
The VC phone/sim is a Blackberry 8520.
The MTN phone/sim is a Nokia 5800.
The Blackberry Internet Service from Vodacom can only be described as pathetic, however numerous MTN subscribers say performance is great even on EDGE/GPRS capable devices.
I have NO issues with the Nokia 5800.
I am desperately looking for a win win situation.
I understand that I will lose the SP warranty if I swop phone/simcards, but am willing to consider this just to get a decent BB service.
I do not believe that VC will come to the BIS party any time soon and am not willing to waste two years with a cripple BIS service.
Now, can I cancel my BIS with VC, but keep the Weekend package?
Then, can I activate BIS on MTN on the VC provided BB phone?
Both phones will be active, just on opposite Networks.
Weighing the pros and cons, would this be something to consider?
Would you do it?
Oh, in case you wondering why I am even thinking about this see below:
