I installed service pack3 on many computers and never had problem but there is one laptop which i am having problems with...the end
Right......... when i click on mycomputer icon..then properties and click on the hardware tab and click device manager a console1 screen comes up and i have to add the snapin thingie.I dont see any device manager..
Another problem is that when the pc loads up sometimes i see a small window in the left top corner of the screen saying something about settingsnrestore..I have never seen this window before.....well i contacted microsoft and they said to me that there is a few registries that got corrupted during the upgrade to sp3 and the only way to fix this is by going through the registry and finding these bugs

ANother problem is that non of my u3 devices will boot up anymore,but on other computers it works fine

SO what do i do to fix the device manager story,i am sure the other problems is related to this.
I am working 2 days on this and wasted about enough time on trying to find the fault.I even repaired windows and did a clean install and a format.I really cant do this again.I am lost as i have tried everything my brain can think of.....the weird thing is this pc ran xpsp3 before and there was no errors,why now why me why this gd forsaken time when we need our rest and tranquility

Should i reinstall windows again and install sp3 again and see or should i just get the hammer to end all things.BTW i have tried MS fix by installing a updatefix for this problem...........DID NOT WORK.
I really need the u3 devices to work...also the error i get on the u3 sandisk is "launchpad could not be started directly,please use launchpadu3.exe"when i do that the same error comes up, what the...
