The best I can find seems to indicate it's a (whole) lot less than only the 'tube and more to do with Akamai as well. (also, belated snap with Gary)

Awesome jump. Don't know if anyone else would try and beat that.
But it is a year for records. First Cameron goes deeper than anyone else, then Buangartner goes higher.

A history teacher once gave us a incredible example. He cut a orange in half. Then pointed to the orange rind. 'If this was the earth, that thin orange line is where the entire human history has played off. Excluding a handful of astronauts, cosmonauts and crazy people, of course.'
