I've used Neraphones, Thuraya, Traan&Traan, Hughes.
Some units only do web browsing & email while others can be connected to a normal telephone for "old school style telephone calls"
Bandwidth availability on the briefcase-sized units are HUGELY better than on a standard SAT phone.
If all you want is bandwidth (web & email) then get a Thuraya handset.
They're tiny and work well.
Airtime/Bandwidth is FOOKING expensive though.

Call Taha Versi.
He's done VSAT installs all over the continent.
