Only one thruster pod of the four was working. In general, they need two pods working to do a set of maneuvers before deploying the solar panels. The software onboard sensed this and prevented the panels from deploying. Engineers on the ground noticed that the hardware used to open the panels was getting colder with time, so they decided to send up an override command to deploy the panels. This worked, and about 1 hour 40 minutes after launch, the panels were fully deployed and operational.

At around the same time, they were able to get a second thruster tank to pressurize, which was welcome news. Finally, about five hours after launch, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk announced that the final two thrusters were online and operational. As of this writing, they are still not fully powered up, but are expected to be soon.

And there was a twitter update 10:16pm on 1 March.
@elonmusk: Orbit raising burn successful. Dragon back on track.

maybe the 1 or 2 march discrepance was due to reports from different timezones?

Nope. In this modern age of social networking its called 'reporting someone else's story without following up'.
Also known as lazy journalism.

If you take a look at the author of the article, you'll see that it is a SAPA-AFP article. That means it came down the newswire and MyBB put it up for your information. Since it isn't MyBB's article, they aren't going to waste their precious time fact-checking every single syndicated article that comes down the channel for minor mistakes like the date on the article.

Just because newer information had since been made available between the time the SAPA feed was published and the time it got posted on MyBB, does not make the information/article incorrect. You'll see that MyBB posted a second, later SAPA-AFP article on the arrival of Dragon at the station which covers the rest of the story.

MyBB has their hands full dealing with local tech and internet news. Syndicated news articles are a standard method for reporting foreign interest stories without wasting any of our journalist's time. Would you prefer they didn't publish additional stories simply because they didn't write them themselves?

I would prefer that anybody calling themselves a journalist has the integrity to check the basic facts of a story are correct before reproducing it verbatim.

An person who just copy/pastes stories wholesale without even basic checking doesn't deserve the title "journalist".
