SpaceX sticks second landing

SpaceX has landed one of its Falcon 9 rockets on Cape Canaveral’s landing zone for the second time.

I was following this on Twitter this morning. I never get enough of their successes.

The concept of space travel still calls to my inner me. Who knows, maybe one day in my twilight years they will use me as part of a manned mission experiment to launch something to the outermost regions of our solar system or beyond.

Nitpick: the title should be "SpaceX sticks second terrestrial landing". They've made 10 rocket retrieval attempts, of which 5 have succeeded; 3 of those were on the ocean, 2 on land.

Notably, all 5 successes have occurred in less than a year (CRS-8, the first success, was on 22 December 2015) and there has been only a single failure since CRS-8.
