SpaceX's Starship cleared for next test launch

I spoke to someone today who believe the moon landing was fake and because all science stems from that lie, it's all a lie...

There have been photos from that Indian thing circling the moon, that’s taken photos of the Apollo stuff left behind

What I learnt was, it's fake so everything following is fake, hence no evidence is real, satellites are balloons, gravity is magnetism

And having an object larger than a 747 fuselage hurtling straight down at supersonic speeds and being caught gently at the last second by a giant building with tweezers? Well, that's... priceless.

And also something that can be predictively viewed with the naked eye.

It's absolutely incredible. I hope I'm granted a long life in order to see the technological advances in this arena.

It's crazy, I've shown SpaceX's landings to my FIL who just said "no ways" and dismissed it as CGI.

I've told him to watch the SpaceX documentary and the explainers on YouTube, but he's not buying it.

An incredibly intelligent man who was once offered an apprenticeship at IBM when he was young.

Anyway, well done SpaceX.

That was awesomely epic! What an astonishing achievement!! The engineering is just mind-blowingly amazing. And thanks to Starlink we got it at 4K.

I cannot stop boggling at the engineering in so many areas. Just one staggering example: In less than two seconds Superheavy's fuel turbine pumps spin up from zero to moving twenty tons (!) of liquid oxygen and methane per second (!!) to the thirty-three Raptor engines. Inflippencredible.

Hopefully we'll see IFR6 before Christmas, along with a Starship (second stage) soft landing.
