Spaghetti Squash

Why not just get healthier wholegrain pasta? I don't see how a vegetable made to look like pasta can be anything close to pasta.

We do only use whole weat pasta. But I want a whole bowl of spagetti and sauce:o Now I can have two spoons. :o

Try zucchini pasta? You can make it at home :)

Try other variations of the store-bought pasta? I see so many 'health' varieties in stores; surely one fits in to your diet?

I need to cut carbs so I heard about this squash and wanted to try it.

Zucchini pasta I will try that thanx!!:)

I would think you still need a certain amount of carbs per day, so that can be it?

Does something like rye pasta or one of the variations contain less carbs? I wonder...

I do not want to have no carbs I just need have a whole bowl of pasta guilt free:o I miss having pasta and tomato and basil sauce. And that means the whole bowl is carbs. :(

Where did you get rye pasta?

But again I can have 60g of rye bread. ( half a slice) Now If I can make my 3 portions of veg spagetti pasta and sauce have a whole bowl:D:D:D I'll do the happy dance once a month:o

There ya go. Skip the bread and go for the rya pasta :D

I've seen it in PnP and Dischem (Dischem, quite oddly, have a lot of health food stuff). I'm sure you should be able to find it anywhere.
Oh. In PnP, check the pasta section and, at the back somewhere, the little health section where they keep things like quinoa (another thing I've never tried; I just know that that's where it is). It could be there instead.

Please note that I have never tried it, and can't tell you if it's any good or if it tastes horrid :D

:D I'll test and warn if it is:D

Cool :D
There's a couple of variations; I'm sure I remember seeing wheat-free, gluten-free, etc. You can test all the ones you can eat and report back :p

I just polished off a heaping bowl of spaghetti with a rich homemade bolognese sauce - topped off with melted mozzarella and freshly grated Pecorino.

But hey - I'm sure shredded squash is just as nice . . .

Bwana burgers for supper too.

Everyone needs a cheat day, Mila ;)

But I wnat pizzza for cheat day:D:o So if I can have the heathy spagetti........ I'm a bad dieter:D

But but but!!! If I have to choose I'll rather have pizza with extra cheese....

What kind of cheese are you allowed on your diet? What kind of carbs are you allowed. I'm sure you can come up with a very interesting pizza using what you're allowed ;)

Weigh less.

I'm not allowed cheese yet. Or they have just not added it to our menu.
