It looked that way. He seemed pretty irritated. At least he spat in the cameraman's direction. He doesn't seem to be smiling anymore...
 
Dunno bout you but all I say was Capdevila falling onto the ground but then again there was only one quick shot of the incident so could've been genuine.

Comfortable win for Spain but I think if they were to meet a real quality side they'd get dumped out. Just aren't looking like the 2nd best side in the world.

At first it look like a bad decision but it might've been an intentional elbow - replay didn't show it clearly, actually the clearest replay was from a camera quite far so even then it wasn't clear.

It was a GREAT dive from Carp de Villa... oh something touched me lemme hold my eye ball and roll around! YES! RED CARD! Aside from Villa this spanish team is starting to be the worst divers almost superseeding the South americans and Slovenia and Slovakia.

P.S wtf is that striker partnering Villa? he looks almost unnatural... he's arms is just as long as his legs... could have sworn he was running on all 4 :p

Another note this youngster F COENTRÃO played pretty awesome this WC... wonder if there will be a couple big clubs knocking on Sporting Lisbon's door

even if there was contact...its pretty standard, a red was harsh.....
I hate these morons falling all over the place..
I would like to take a football team from the 80's/early 90's and play them against these guys now...and show them what real contact feels like,.
 
Indeed. Something along the lines of Vinnie Jones, Roy Keane, Eric Cantona etc. etc. I'm sure you'd see the other team leave the field in tears.
 
Not the result I was hoping for, but Spain was the better team 2nite.

Wayne Rooney is shoping for a caravan.
The Cristiano Ronaldo movie is put on indefinite hold (thank heavens).

I think the Robinho one which they have started showing is a add-on since Ronaldinho wasn't in the world cup. In that case he may still have a chance

Sidenote: At least there is 2 day break, I can probably get some things done

Was at the game last night. WoW what a night!

Weird that so many Portugal supporters thought they had a chance against the mighty Espana!

Xavi and Iniesta were WORLD CLASS last night!!! I hope Cesc Fabregas is taking notes on the bench.

Great to see David Villa link up with Iniesta and Xavi. Pedro should have come on sooner and Torres should be benched in the next game, he just isnt good enough at this World Cup.
