Spam call for Maverick 2.0 box

Yesterday I got a call from +27 76 113 9937 from a guy claiming to be from DStv. He said that I can get a Maverick 2.0 box that can be used for watching SuperSport, Netflix, Disney+ and YouTube for R199 per month. I told him that I wouldn't make a decision like this over the phone and hung up.

I checked the DStv website, and it doesn't look like something they offer. It sounded like I would have been able to access SuperSport for R199 a month from his sales pitch, but it also sounded too good to be true. We recently cancelled our DStv Premium subscription, but we miss watching sports from time to time.

Did anyone else also get a similar call? Is there a way to stream SuperSport with SA rugby and cricket matches without a full Premium subscription?

Yes, illegally and then you hung up on the person offering you access illegally..

Also, Frikkie might end up knocking at your door to lock you up for access DSTv content illegally..

I thought that it was too good to be true! I'm not interested in illegal means of streaming local sports. Initially I thought it was someone trying to win back "cord cutters."
