Spam or legit Afrihost email?

Hi

I got this email from Afrihost, gmail sent it to my spam folder so I am a bit skeptical. Can anyone confirm this email as to be real or spam?

If you've got 1 minute & 39 seconds to spare right now you could win 2 iPads.

And you'd be a BIG help to us too!

Simply fill in the short, multiple choice survey at http://bit.ly/rnvzgO

Remember to:

1) Fill in your email at the bottom of the survey and you'll be in line to win the first iPad

2) Then reply to this email with the first 2 words on the page AFTER you've filled in and submitted the survey & I'll put you into an extra draw to win another iPad from Afrihost.

The survey is being run by MyBroadband, the biggest and busiest tech website in SA, and I'd sincerely appreciate it if you spent 2 minutes filling it in:

(I timed it and it took me 1 minute, 39 seconds - but then again I gave Afrihost TEN out of TEN for everything so didn't take too much thought power!)

Only reason why I'm asking is because it is just a text email with no pictures or nothing.

The only bias lies in the fact that this email only goes out to Afrihost clients. Apart from that, it's all fair - people can vote for whoever they like. They're just encouraging people to vote.

It might be bias but it's a good way to reward their existing clients.

There have been people here moaning that as they're clients they don't qualify for new client specials...
 
You all correct it's by no means a carrot and stick. I mean playing on people to win is all cool

...At least you could have an ipad which is much more of a chance than getting a house for voting :whistle:
 
OpenWeb sent a similar E-mail a day before Afrihost sent this E-mail:
Hey Friends,

Unfortunately for OpenWeb, I've already voted for my ISP before they sent out the E-mail ;)
 
Shame what isps need to do to be voted a rank higher :rolleyes:
