Spam? or Not?

I've been getting a lot of emails lately from "blizzard entertainment" about my account needs to be varified or that my account is being investigated for something.
Havent received any emails from blizzard in the 3 years i've been playing.

Is this spam or not?
I dont want my account to be hacked again ... took me a month to sort it out last time it got hacked.

Yeh it's spam. Never follow a link from a mail to your blizzard account. If you really want to check, log in directly to their page via your internet browser.

Generally you can also check the link in your mail, and it will be to some funny webpage or one which looks kind of correct but is longer or shorter then the standard pages.

yeah ... also thought it was spam, have been ingnoring the emails for weeks now.

I also have an authenticator (bought it after the last hack) and my account has been linked with battle.net

Will keep on ignoring those emails then ... thx

Get a Gmail account. Problem solved

As others have said, it's either spam or a phishing mail. Don't follow links in *any* emails regarding your WoW (or SC2 for that matter) account, no matter how genuine and legitimate they may seem, rather log into your account management page on the official site and see what's going on there.
