Seattle - A man described as one of the world's most prolific spammers was arrested, and US authorities said computer users across the web could notice a decrease in the amount of junk e-mail.

I am surprised that it isn't easy to get these guys. I mean, they advertise their existence. How hard is it to track these guys down and prosecute them? If not the spammers directly, then surely they can hit the companies whose products the spammers are advertising?
