Doing a quick end of the week shop earlier today at Spar, get to the till and shows the Spar discounts around R116 and then till flashed you won free shopping.

Anyhow I see online they have a promotion that 21000 people will win their shopping back in 2021 so genuine promo and at least it wasn't just a coke or something.........:laugh:

What are those figures?

How can SPAR save you R2047? Did you purchase R10k worth of groceries?

He bought R 1 930.72 worth of groceries.
Was awarded R 166.68 worth of discount as per SPAR rewards.

Then he won a Free Shop on top of that.

Added all together he scored R 2 047.40....not 100% technically, mathematically true ( SPAR math) but close enough.

Nope
Total shopping was R2047.40
Original Spar rewards was R116.68

Then won free shopping on the balance due of R1930.72

So due R0.00
Their math is just fine.

Nice and unexpected win.

the total bill was R2047 amount due R0.00, amount saved R2047 (and 40 c btw) - not rocket science.

I have in one year won 3 x R 2000 Spar vouchers at a very busy spar and once I have won my basket. My mother had won an ~R 3000 basket at Spar. Mind you, all at the exact same Spar.

Would have been clearer to all if you posted the whole slip or at least the part showing your shopping's Total amount.

So yes, not "rocket science" when you were actually there and have all the info...
