What a series!!!!!!!!!!!! i cannot even remember what the old spartacus looked like, the new guy is bloody epic.
Come on he was the main character in the previous series Gods of the arena. Was obvious he would be in this one. Not a spoiler.

Gods of the Arena
Season 2.
Blood and sand. (With old Spartacus)
Gods of the Arena (Prequel to Blood and sand)
Vengeance (With new Spartacus, sequel to blood and sand)
So if you have never watched the series then Gods of the Arena, Blood and Sand and Vengeance is the chronological order to watch it.
Prequel would not have been made. Spartacus' actor got cancer and they delayed the sequel so that he could recover (he didn't). Gods of the Arena was a stop gap because of this.

Nah I'd go with the order it was aired - Blood & Sand, Gods of the Arena and Vengeance. Watching God of the Arena second gives you an insight into the back-story that you may have been wondering about during Blood & Sand.

Except there is no season 3
Its :
Season 1: Blood and sand
Miniseries :Gods of the Arena
Season 2: Vengeance
Watch it in that order but Gods of the Arena takes place before Blood and Sand, so you can watch it first.
