I want to buy another set of speakers, but I'm not quite sure which way to go.
(Just a 2.1 setup like my current Creative Inspire set)
Has anyone used both Logitech and Creative? Which would you recommend?

TIA

Well, I'm not sure about the 2.1 systems. But I've heard both the Creative Inspire P5800 and the Logitech X-530's(both 5.1 systems, both spec'ed about the same). I would say the creative's sound a little better, more clear.
But that could just be me :). Try going to a pc shop and listen for yourself(if they will allow you to). In the end YOU are the person that has to be happy with it.

Go creative, I've got the SBS 2.1 370. Bought it with my pc from RAGE, I think I paid something like R180 last year august :)

Umm I got logitech 6.1s, they are 4king brilliant:D Logitech is really the best imo and many others. There is absolutley nothing wrong with creatives though, also very good i have owned 2 sets was very happy with them. I ended blowing my 1st set of creatives tho:(. I suggest that you go for what you think looks best and fits best with the rest of your setup as you wont be disapointed with either brands

Can't go wrong with Ctreative SB 370's PM fiveby5 he has 2 sets and he can give you some feedback onthem.

It's a toss up but I'll go with Creative. The P380's.

Let me make thinks Easy... These are the only type of 2.1 speakers that Creative here have in stock. (that includes Sahara)
Creative SBS (2.1) 370 - Speaker System (Satelite 5W RMS + Sub 11W RMS) + Wired Remote R210 .00 incl

Rectron has the P380's on their pricelist, dunno if they have stock...

I have the Logitech X230's. They have way too much bass. I wouldn't buy them (or any other X series speakers from Logitech) again.

A buddy has the Logitech Z2300's. These things are brilliant, but cost over a grand for a 2.1 setup .....

Haven't ever tried any of the Creatives.

Buy the NAG magazine this month the Hardcor3 section is all about speakers. Great write-up
