Speakers making buzzing sounds

Hi guys,

I have a set of Logitech X-240s which are beginning to drive me crazy. Whenever I plug them into something they make a constant "buzzing" sound. Is it a fault with the speakers or is there a way to fix it?

If you have a low wattage speaker system, or if the speakers' volume is set too high, they make a buzzing noise. You might also want to try to eliminate static on the connections.

Power supply hum? Or noise induced by components close to the audio card/chip? Had that on my old machine with an AGP card. You eventually go mad and get used to it.
