speakers

i have 2014 ford figo i do not know the size of the original speakers when i stripped the panel they are a shape of 6x9 but look smaller.

so can i have an advice can i fit 6x9 on front doors without tempering with panel

Those are probably 5x7's ... heard a rumour its not advised to replace them with 6x9's .... not sure why

I am also not sure why, as long as the amplifier is up to the task and the speaker can fit in the enclosure.
