The Limpopo man accused of defacing The Spear painting has been fired, according to a report on Wednesday.

His now-former employer Mphaphi Machipi told the Sowetan that Louis Mabokela was on sick leave when he defaced the painting.

Mabokela told the daily newspaper it was worth losing his job "in order to restore the dignity of the president".

FAIL! There is no way to possible restore the dignity of the prez. He is known as the shower head ffs!

I didn't know such a thing as leave of any kind exists in the taxi industry. You work till you drop dead there.

And so he should be fired, you cannot lie to you employer and also take the law (or what you believe to be law) into your own hands.
