My NovaTel U740 is automatically detected and installed by Windows Vista. Although I have downloaded the VodaFone Mobile Connect software, it seem to be some sort of overhead on the Windows Vista OS.
Just one problem so far. Although I can create a dialup connection by using the *99***1# number, I cannot specific the internetVPN APN to access the net.
Any workarounds to specify the APN? Modem init strings? Although the VMC software will do, Im pretty sure there is alternatives.
