Speed bump issues

Any one know how/where to report illegally erected (and very badly built ones that knock the @#$# out of your car)speed bumps?

I'm in Benoni Ekhuruleni if that makes a difference

Haha but not helpful. Doesn't matter with you go over them from a dead stop or not they shake your car to death

in seriousness though, is the speedbump illegal? i.e who installed it? these things go through a process normally. Your first port of call would be your ward councillor

I'm fairly certain illegally erected. We live in an an enclosed area and yes, some speed control is needed. Unfortunately though we are blessed with a "Safety and Security" committee that is populated with people who think they can do as they please.

The result is these speed bumps. They look nothing like your typical speedbump (too high, not rounded off properly and painted yellow and black) and the signage is distinctly amateur looking. Oddly enough no speed bumps in the street where the majority of the committee live
